Smart Edifice LMS (“the App”) is a mobile application that provides students with secure access to their official learning accounts hosted on the TVTC-AA platform via API integration.

The App does not independently create user accounts, store academic records, or process payments. It acts solely as a secure interface between the user and the official TVTC-AA learning management system.

1. Information We Collect

The App itself does not collect or store personal data on its own servers. However, the following data may be processed:

• Login credentials (used only for authentication with the official platform)
• Basic account information retrieved via secure API
• Device information and usage data through Firebase services

2. Firebase Services

The App uses Google Firebase services which may collect:

• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
• App performance data
• Anonymous analytics data

Firebase may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage information in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy:

3. Data Storage

The App does not store academic data or personal records locally except for secure authentication tokens required for login functionality. All student data remains stored on the official TVTC-AA servers.

4. Data Sharing

The App does not sell, rent, or trade user data. Data may be processed by:

• TVTC-AA official LMS servers
• Google Firebase services

5. Account Deletion

The App does not manage user account creation or deletion.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, users must contact the official platform administrator at:

Account deletion requests are processed according to institutional data retention policies.

6. Data Retention

The App does not retain personal data independently. Data retention is governed by TVTC-AA institutional policies.

7. Security

All communication between the App and the official platform is encrypted using HTTPS protocols.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
